About Us
Mindful Healing is a counseling practice dedicated to providing an approach with a multilayered combination of essential therapeutic mechanisms to all populations who need support in managing life's various complex challenges.
Together we aspire to help our clients build upon and improve coping skills, discover how they see themselves and the world and find the origins of their beliefs. We work toward assisting our clients to comprehend their behaviors and realize the underlying patterns of why they do what they do. Simultaneously, we guide them toward uncovering their resilience and apply mindfulness practices that reduce stress, decrease depression and anxiety, achieve greater focus, and improve interpersonal relationships. This multilayered method provides traditional and newfound practical approaches that create lasting contentment and clarity in their lives.
Our devotion to aiding others inspires us to evolve further in utilizing evidence-based psychological methods combined with holistic approaches while always keeping a strengths-based modality at the foundation of every client's treatment program. Our staff of diverse specialized clinicians regards themselves not as the essence of a client's success but rather the motivational educator who guides them toward a life-long application of skills long after they consider their therapy complete.

Sunflowers turn according to the position of the sun. In other words, they “chase the light.” Have you ever wondered what happens on cloudy and rainy days when the sun is completely covered by clouds? Perhaps you think the sunflower withers or turns its head towards the ground, but they turn towards each other to share their energy.

Michele Virtuoso, M.A., M.S., LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Partner Specializing in anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitionsI believe that the way we treat ourselves matters just as much as how we treat others. My work centers around helping clients build self-awareness, develop self-compassion, and feel more confident navigating life's challenges.
My approach is focused on helping clients become their own "life therapists." Together, we build practical, lasting skills so you can manage stress, regulate emotions, and move through difficult situations with clarity and strength—long after therapy ends.
I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. Every client brings a unique story, and therapy should reflect that. I prioritize creating a genuine, trusting relationship where you feel safe to be open, honest, and fully yourself. From that foundation, we work collaboratively toward meaningful, lasting change.
I truly love the work I do. Supporting people through growth and transformation is not just my profession—it's my passion.
Helping you become your own life therapist—with tools that last far beyond the therapy room.
